Mounties in Banff seized a cache of illicit drugs and paraphernalia worth an estimated $50,000 from a residence in that town.

Banff RCMP executed a warrant Saturday at a house in the 400 block of Banff Ave.

Two males were home at the time and were arrested without incident.

Among the items seized were quantities of cannabis marijuana, hashish, an undisclosed amount of cash, trafficking and drug paraphernalia.

Clive Tupper, a 32-year-old male from Banff, and Kyle Tupper, a 36-year-old male, have each been charged with two counts of possession for the purpose of trafficking and one count of possession of property obtained by crime.

Both have been released and are set to appear in Canmore Provincial Court on Wednesday.

Banff RCMP is asking anyone with information regarding drug trafficking to call them at 403-762-2228.
